Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges

On November 4, 2017 Milford Police arrested a 27 year old Milford woman after a traffic stop resulted in heroin, marijuana, and cocaine being located in her vehicle. On 11.04.2017 an officer from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division stopped a vehicle on Lakeview Avenue (SR 36), just east of South DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113). An investigation during the stop located heroin, marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. Brooke A. Stratton, 27 of Milford, was taken into custody at the scene without incident. Ms. Stratton has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended, and Possession of a Suspended License. Ms. Stratton was also found to be wanted by the Sussex County Family Court. Ms. Stratton was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $2200.00 unsecured. Ms. Stratton is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on 11.22.2017 for an arraignment.
