Altercation In Milford Plaza Leads To Arrest

On November 30, 2017 at approximately 7:29 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the Milford Plaza in the 600 block of North DuPont Boulevard to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim and Charles H. Adkins, 39 of Harrington. Investigation revealed the victim observed Mr. Adkins engaged in a confrontation with another subject, at which time the victim attempted to intervene. Mr. Adkins reportedly aggressively charged the victim and assaulted him, leaving the victim with minor injuries. Mr. Adkins was taken into custody and charged with Assault 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Adkins was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1000.00 unsecured. Mr. Adkins is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 01.10.2018 for an arraignment. **Updated Photo For Mr. Adkins Not Available At The Time Of This Release**
