On December 4, 2017 Milford Police arrested a 17 year old male juvenile from Felton following an investigation into a robbery that occurred at Card Smart in the Milford Plaza. Investigation revealed the juvenile entered the store at approximately 3:22 pm and demanded money, while reportedly implying there was a weapon in his pocket. Store staff did not comply with the juveniles demand and contacted police, at which time the juvenile fled on foot. Responding officers were able locate the juvenile in the 700 block of North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) and after a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody without incident. The juvenile has been charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest. The juvenile was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $10,500.00 secured. The juvenile has been committed to the custody of the William Marion Stevenson House Detention Center.
