Overnight Shooting On South Washington Street

On December 4, 2017 at approximately 9:00 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence in the 200 block of South Washington Street to a report of a shooting. Investigation revealed an unknown, possibly male suspect, wearing a mask with a tan jacket, approximately 5’10 or taller, approached the male victim and fired multiple rounds from a handgun. The victim was struck once and was transported by Carlisle Fire Company personnel to Bayhealth in Milford to be treated for non life threatening injuries. There were two other individuals with the victim that were unharmed during this incident. Detectives are actively investigating this matter and are urging anyone with information about this incident to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.
