On 12.18.2017 Milford Police arrested Shaquel Bowe, 24 of Milford, to complete an investigation into a domestic related incident that occurred on 12.09.2017. Mr. Bowe, who turned himself into police, has been charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft Under $1500, Criminal Mischief, 2 counts of Breach of Release, and Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. Mr. Bowe was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $3750.00 Unsecured. Mr. Bowe is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 12.22.2017 for a Preliminary Hearing.

On 12.09.2017 at approximately 5:00 am, officers from the Milford Police Department responded to an apartment in Silver Lake Estates to a domestic related incident. Investigation revealed Shaquel Bowe, 24 of Milford, reportedly entered the victim’s residence and engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim. It’s been reported Mr. Bowe then damaged the victim’s cell phone. Mr. Bowe then fled prior to police arrival by taking the victim’s car. Further investigation revealed Mr. Bowe also had two active no contact orders in place, both issued by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. The first of the two orders stated he was to have no contact with the property of Silver Lake Estates and the second stating he was to have no contact with the victim. Warrants have been obtained for Mr. Bowe as part of this investigation and Milford Police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.
