Arrested Stemming From September Investigation

On 12/18/2017, Adul Shaakir Al-Amin aka Damien Jarvis, 36 of Dover, DE, was arrested stemming from a September 2017 investigation. On 09/16/2017, Al-Amin allegedly entered into the Dollar Tree, located at 28263 Lexus Dr. Milford, DE 19963, and made contact with the victim. Al-Amin then allegedly proceeded to yell and curse at the victim, as well as threatening to do physical harm to them. Further investigation revealed that both the victim and witnesses inside the store believed that Al-Amin was in possession of a weapon due to his actions. The victim also advised that Al-Amin had allegedly been harassing him over the last few days by following him as he walked around the city.

Adul Shaakir Al-Amin was charged with Terroristic Threatening, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct. He had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $1500.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. He was ordered to appear in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date reference to this case.
