Arrested For Unauthorized Use Of Vehicle

On 11/03/2017 at approximately 2:52 p.m., the Milford Police Department responded to the Reserve at Saw Mill Apartments for an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle investigation. Contact was made with the victim, who advised that they allowed the suspect, Rebecca Davis, 50 of Milford, DE, to use their vehicle for a certain period of time, but Davis failed to bring the vehicle back as agreed upon. The victim alleged that they attempted to make contact with Davis multiple times to have her return the vehicle, but she allegedly still failed to bring the vehicle back. A warrant was obtained for Davis reference to this investigation.

On 12/20/2017, Davis was taken into custody by the Delaware State Police and was turned over to the Milford Police Department. She was charged with one count of Unauthorized Use Of A Vehicle Without The Consent Of The Owner. She was also found to be wanted out of Sussex County Superior Court. She had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 2. She was released on $500 unsecured bail reference to this case. She was ordered to appear in Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date in reference to this case.
