Employees of Del-One FCU and volunteers of the Del-One Foundation gathered gloves, hats, scarves, coats, and other items to benefit Code Purple Kent County. This organization was chosen as an initiative for 2017 by the Del-One Foundation Board. In addition to the winter weather gear donation, the Del-One Foundation also sponsored the Firefly clean up through Code Purple, and was able to donate an additional $8,000 to this worthy cause! Code Purple Kent County is an “emergency sanctuary base that allows all people in need to be provided a safe haven when temperatures reach 32 or below during the months of December through March”. Del-One FCU and the Del-One Foundation are proud to support this amazing organization.
