Woman Arrested On Shoplifting Charges

On 01/17/2018, Robin Reynolds, 59 of Houston, DE was arrested by Milford Police Department stemming from a shoplifting incident that occurred in December 2017. Felton Police came into contact with Reynolds and turned her over to Milford Police Department after they learned she was wanted in connection with this incident.

On 12/11/2017, Milford Police Department Patrol Division responded to Peebles, located at 654 N DuPont Blvd, Milford, Kent County, DE reference to a shoplifting case. Contact was made with loss prevention staff at the store, who advised that the suspect, Reynolds, allegedly concealed merchandise inside of a purse and attempted to shoplift the merchandise from the store. Loss Prevention made contact with Reynolds as she was exiting the store and she refused to cooperate with Loss Prevention and fled from the store. Loss Prevention was able to take possession of Reynold’s purse with the stolen merchandise inside prior to her fleeing from the store. Loss Prevention was able to recover the stolen property. Inside the purse, officers located an I.D. for Reynolds as well as drug paraphernalia. A warrant was obtained for Reynolds reference to this investigation.

It was also learned that Reynolds had multiple capiases for her arrest as well. She had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was committed to the Department of Corrections in default of $19,220.00 cash bail and $1550.00 secured bail reference to the new charges and outstanding capiases. Reynolds was ordered to appear in various courts at a later date.
