O’Hara places 1st, 4-H Senior Division

On January 21, 2018, Hannah O’Hara competed in the Kent County 4-H Public Presentation Contest. The title of her speech was “Small and Sparkling”. She gave a verbal tour of Delaware, the ‘Diamond State’ and explained how special Delaware means to her. She placed 1st in the Senior Division competing against 17 others. She will compete at the DE State Fair in July with the winners of Sussex and New Castle 4-H county contests.

Hannah lives in Milford with her parents and younger sister. She has been a member of the Houston Cardinals 4-H Club for 10 years where she has participated in archery, foods, sewing, horticulture, community service, and leadership project areas. She is the Secretary for the 4-H Delaware State Teen Council, President of the Kent County Jr Council. and Vice President of the Delaware State Fair Junior Board. Hannah is a senior at Sussex Tech High School. She is the Senior Class President. She is in the Business, Finance, and Marketing technical area.
