Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Pair



On February 9, 2018 the Milford Police Department’s Special Operations Group, Drug Unit, and Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment on Bachelor Court to complete a 4 month drug investigation. Crack cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized a part of this investigation. Frederick E. Daniels, 50, and Alicia L. Cooper, 38, both of Milford were charged with multiple drug related offenses. Mr. Daniels has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, and Resisting Arrest. Ms. Cooper has been charged with Possession With The Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $8500.00 secured for Mr. Daniels and $5000.00 unsecured for Ms. Cooper. Mr. Daniels was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Corrections at the Sussex Correctional Institution. Both are scheduled for Preliminary Hearings at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 02.23.2018.
