On Thursday, February 15, The Delaware State Fair announced more of its highly anticipated Delaware Lottery Summer Concert Series Lineup for 2018. The organization continues to fill in the few remaining holes in the 2018 lineup with the announcement of additional nights of entertainment that feature two very popular country artists and a Craft Beer Festival for the 2018 Fair.
“After the momentum of our Quillen Arena Concert Announcement, featuring Kane Brown, we really wanted to continue to give Delawareans access to excellent entertainment and we think our concert fans are going to love this addition to the lineup,” said Assistant General Manager, Danny Aguilar. “Brett Eldredge with Drew Parker will take the stage on Friday, July 20. Critically acclaimed for his silky croon and “stomping tunes, there is no doubt that country star Brett Eldredge is going to put on an unbelievable show.” Doors open at 6:30pm with the show beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $33-$73 or upgrade to VIP tickets for $150.
The Craft Beer Festival is returning to the fair on Saturday, July 21. The Craft Beer Tasting will feature over 50 varieties of beer from top Delmarva Breweries. Music Only Tickets are $25 and Craft Beer Tickets are $35. Craft Beer Ticket holders will receive access to the concert, a souvenir cup and 5 beer tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be $2 each. Craft Beer Ticket holders must be 21 years or older and gates will open and Craft Beer Tasting will begin at 6pm, the show will start at 6:30pm, last call will be at 8:15pm, with a fireworks display presented by M&T Bank will begin at approximately 9:30pm.
Chris Young with special guest, Dylan Scott will perform live at the M&T Bank Grandstand on Sunday, July 22. “Chris Young has accomplished more in the early years of his career than some artists do in a lifetime,” said Aguilar. “Already a Grammy-nominated recording artist, he’s also a dynamic live performer consistently in demand, an international ambassador for his genre and a talented songwriter…Chris Young is bringing his unique brand of soulful, high-energy country music for an incredible show.” Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $37-$77 or upgrade to VIP tickets for $150.
