Arrested For Strangulation and Assault

On 03/03/2018 at approximately 2:09 p.m., the Milford Police Department Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation after a victim responded to the hospital with injuries from an assault. Investigation revealed that the incident occurred on 03/02/2018 in the evening hours at a residence on East Green Lane in Milford. Investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect identified as Arron Wright, 34 of Milford, DE, were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. Wright allegedly assaulted and straggled the victim during the incident. Investigation revealed that there were 3 juveniles in the residence at the time of the incident that were in sight and sound of the incident. A warrant was obtained for Wright reference to this incident.

On 03/03/2018, Wright turned himself in to Milford PD reference to the active warrant for his arrest. Wright was charged with Strangulation, Assault 2nd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, and three counts of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. Wright had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 3 and was committed to the Department of Corrections in default of $72,000 USC cash bail. A no contact order was also put into place between Wright and the victims in this case. Wright was ordered to appear in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing reference to this case.
