DEStorage Opens New Building

A new 12,000 square foot, all-climate building is now open at DEStorage, adding an additional 95 units to the storage facility. According to Krissy Campbell, District Manager for DEStorage.com, this is the third expansion of the Milford location since the property was acquired four years ago.

“The building is offered for storage customers who wish to store their personal belongings with us in a safe, secure and temperature-controlled environment,” Campbell said. “The new building offers a variety of sizes to meet the needs of any customer wishing to store personal items, whether it is furniture, appliances, household items, valuables and documentation. The new building is climate-controlled which means that the temperature is controlled and maintained at a level that prevents moisture in humid summer months and dryness and freezing temperatures in winter months. Drastic changes in the temperature throughout the seasons can result in damage to certain personal items and a climate-controlled environment mitigates that risk.”

DEStorage is in a great location, according to Campbell, as it is close to Route 113. After acquiring the property in 2014, ownership immediately recognized a need for additional storage facilities to provide better options for their customers. The new building is just the latest effort to meet market demand in the surrounding area for storage facilities.

 

 

“In addition to household storage, we also offer units designed for RVs, boats, classic cars, trailers, motorcycles, etc.,” Campbell said. “These units ae located in our secure storage lot on the west end of the property. The entire facility is monitored 24/7. We also have four other locations throughout Delaware.”

DEStorage.com is conveniently located behind Popeye’s, just off of Route 113 at 1001 East Masten Circle in Milford. The facility is gated, and customers are provided electronic key pad access to the facility. There is a staff member on site six days per week and customers also have the ability to pay their rent online at any time. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 5 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM until 3 PM. They can also be reached by phone at 302-424-6902.
