On 05.05.2018 at approximately 1:11 am, an officer on patrol in the area of North Street and Northwest 5th Street attempted to stop a vehicle in an attempt to locate a wanted person. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued that led to the 600 block of North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113). At that point the vehicle stopped and three of the occupants exited and fled on foot. All three were apprehended shortly after exiting the vehicle. The vehicle then continued on with the operator now being wanted. 474 bags of heroin, 1.2 grams of marijuana, and $556.00 were seized as a part of this investigation. As a result of this incident Tyron R. Mifflin, 18 of Milford, Brian D. Bell, 30 of Frankford, and Antwain M. Holden, 19 of Bridgeville were all charged. Taevon I. Potts, 22 of Milford, is now wanted after the investigation identified him as the operator of the vehicle. Mr. Mifflin was charged with Resisting Arrest. Mr. Mifflin was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $500.00 unsecured. Mr. Mifflin is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on July 25th for an arraignment. Mr. Holden was charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 3 Quantity, and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Mr. Holden was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $8001.00 secured. Mr. Holden is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 05.11.2018 for a Preliminary Hearing. Mr. Holden has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution. Mr. Bell has been charged with Resisting Arrest and Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Bell was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $750.00 unsecured. Mr. Bell is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 07.25.2018 for an arraignment.
