Members of Milford VFW Post 6483, joined by Auxiliary members, placed flags on Milford area cemeteries to show respect for our service members and spouses who have passed. This annual event, completed just prior to Memorial Day, is the VFW’s way of showing our patriotism and respect to those who have passed. In addition to the VFW members and Auxiliary we were joined, for the second year, by members of the Dover Air Force Base 436 LRS Squadron (our Adopt-A-Unit), operations unit members and civil engineering unit members who also placed flags on our local graves.
As military men and women, who have served and who hold personal memories of their service, we are proud to be with these young American Solders, who volunteer their time to honor their comrades who have gone to POST EVERLASTING. It is our privilege and honor to work with and to welcome their assistance.
