Two Arrested For Car Bashing Incident

On 6/2/2018 at approximately 2:47 a.m., the Milford Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to a criminal mischief incident at a residence in the 6100 block of Shawnee Rd. Milford, Sussex County, DE. Officers made contact with the victim, who advised that a Devon Lefever, 20 of Milford DE, and a Jose Arroyo-Camacho, 18 of Lincoln DE, had come to the residence and damaged the windows and headlights of the victim’s vehicle. The victim advised that the incident stemmed from a prior incident between the parties involved. Investigation revealed the suspects allegedly used baseball bats to cause the damage to the vehicle. Officers obtained warrants for Lefever and Arroyo-Camacho as a result of this incident.

Later on 06/02/2018, Lefever and Arroyo-Camacho turned themselves into Milford PD where they were both charged with Criminal Mischief Over $1000.00 and Conspiracy 3rd Degree. Both had a presentment through Justice of the Peace Court 3 and both were released on $2000.00 USC unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. Both were ordered to appear at a later date in the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas reference to this incident.
