Multiple Charges For Magnolia Man

On 06.10.2018 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to an apartment in Silver Lake Estates to a report of an altercation. Investigation revealed Michael S. Scott, 30 of Magnolia, and the victim engaged in a verbal exchange during which Mr. Scott allegedly punched an exterior window of the apartment causing the glass to break. During the incident Mr. Scott also reportedly made comments that led the victim to believe he was going to return with a firearm and harm them. Mr. Scott fled the scene prior to officers arrival. Officers eventually located Mr. Scott at Bayhealth as he responded there for treatment for injuries reportedly caused by the punching of the window. Mr. Scott was taken into custody without incident after be treated. The investigation also determined there was an active Domestic Violence Protective Order, in which Mr. Scott reportedly violated due to his contact with the victim. Mr. Scott has been charged with Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order Involved The Use or Threatened Use of a Deadly Weapon, Terroristic Threatening, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief, and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Scott was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $3000.00 secured. Mr. Scott is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Family Court on 06.18.2018 for an arraignment.
