MSD, MCB Summer Scholarship Program

By Todd Mentor, Band Director – Banneker, Mispillion and Ross Elementary Schools

The Milford School District Instrumental program and the Milford Community Band are happy to announce this year’s recipients of free summer lessons through the Summer Scholarship Program. For 16 years the Milford Community Band has teamed up with elementary and middle school band students to provide a wonderful one-on-one learning experience each summer. This year, through the generous donations of many local individuals, families and businesses the program has awarded 20 scholarships where each student will receive a summer full of individualized lessons with a local professional musician. Thank you to the many businesses, families and individuals for your support of this program.
