On 06.20.2018 officers observed Walter S. Ross, 42 of Milford, walking in the 200 block of Northeast Front Street at approximate 11:53 pm. After initially seeing Mr. Ross the officer lost sight of him. The officer then continued to monitor the area as it was known Mr. Ross was wanted by Delaware Probation and Parole. Mr. Ross was transported to Bayhealth in Milford by Ellendale VFC staff, where he was treated and turned over to Delaware Probation and Parole. Mr. Ross has been charged with Resisting Arrest in addition to being wanted for violation of probation. Mr. Ross was committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna on a $30,000.00 cash bail. Three officers received minor injuries as a result of the struggle during the initial contact with Mr. Ross.
