Investigation Results In Two Being Charged

On 07.24.2018 the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit completed a one month investigation with the arrest of two men. On 07.24.2018 surveillance located a vehicle in the 200 block of North Street in which a search warrant was on file as part of the investigation. Officers made contact with the vehicle and a subsequent search resulted in heroin, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and United States Currency being seized. Richard H. White, 30 of Greenwood, and Ernest E. Johnson, 34 of Magnolia, were both taken into custody and charged as part of this incident. Mr. White has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 Quantity, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. White was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $10,000.00 secured. Mr. Johnson was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. Mr. Johnson was also presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $5000.00 secured. The pair were both committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 08.03.2018 for a Preliminary Hearing.
