US Marshals Locate Fugitive

On 10/30/2018, Fred Jarman, 35 of Milford, DE, was located by the US Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force walking northbound on Bay Rd in the area of Tub Mill Pond Rd., Milford, Kent County, DE. Jarman was wanted out of Kent County Superior Court for a Violation of Probation capias, Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a failure to pay capias, and had an active warrant out of Milford PD stemming from an incident on 10/15/2018. The US Marshals Task Force turned Jarman over to Milford PD for processing.

On 10/15/2018 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Milford Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to the area of Lakeview Ave and W Clarke reference to a verbal altercation. When officers made contact with the subjects, Jarman provided officers with a false name and then fled the scene on foot after officers had informed him several times that he was not free to leave. The other party involved in the incident provided officers with Jarman’s information and officers obtained a warrant for Jarman reference to the incident.

On 10/30/2018, Jarman was charged with Resisting Arrest and Criminal Impersonation stemming from the 10/15/2018 incident. Jarman had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 3 on the new charges and the capiases. Jarman was committed to the Department of Corrections in default of $2000.00 USC secured bail reference to the new charges and $10,050.00 USC cash bail reference to the active capiases. Jarman was ordered to appear in various courts in Kent and Sussex Counties at later dates reference to the new charges and capiases.
