The Milford FFA Chapter brought 30 students to participate in the Delaware FFA State Convention that was held at Delaware State University on March 11th-12th, 2019. Milford FFA students competed against over 700 other FFA members from all across the state in Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events as well as were involved in leadership workshops and community service projects while attending the convention.
Three FFA members from Milford FFA were awarded their Delaware FFA State Degree which requires FFA members to participate in a wide variety of state and chapter FFA events, complete at least two agriculture classes, and take part in over 25 hours of community service. The following Milford FFA members received this high award; Allie Davis, Alison Nordberg and Brianna Reynolds. Alison will be traveling to the Big E in the fall to compete for the Regional Star in Agricultural Placement.
Two FFA members from Milford received proficiency awards which is a reflection of years of hard work they put into their supervised agricultural experience projects they completed while taking agriculture classes.
