On 12.16.2018, the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 600 block of North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) following an incident that occurred during a transaction using an online market place app, LetGo. The investigation revealed the victim and the suspect(s) arraigned to meet at a business parking lot in the 600 block of North DuPont Boulevard to complete a purchase through the LetGo app. During the transaction the suspect(s) and the victim exchanged the item and the money. The suspect(s) then took the item back and fled the scene in their vehicle, placing both victims in danger. The suspect(s) was unable to be located and identified at that time. Through investigative measures, the Dover Police Department were able to identify the suspects in this case. Jahkeim Barnaby, 20 of Dover, DE, Stefan E. Rush-Wilson, 21 of Dover, DE, and a juvenile suspect were identified as being involved in this investigation. Officers obtained warrants for the above individuals.

On 03.10.2019 Jahkeim Barnaby was taken into custody by Cheswold Police Department and later turned over to Milford Police. Mr. Barnaby has been charged with two counts of Reckless Endangering Second Degree, Theft, and Conspiracy 3rd degree. Mr. Barnaby had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where he was released on his own recognizance. Mr. Barnaby is scheduled to appear at the Justice of the Peace Court #6 reference to this investigation.

The juvenile suspect also from Dover, DE was charged in relation to this investigation in January 2019.

Stefan E. Rush-Wilson, 21 of Dover, is still being sought as a result of this investigation.
