On 03.22.2019, at approximately 10:23 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department conducting a proactive foot patrol in Brightway Commons arrested three men following a brief drug investigation. While on the foot patrol officers contacted the three men after suspicious activity was observed that the officers believed to possibly be drug related. As a result of the investigation just over $2000.00 was seized, along with 9 bundles of heroin and 188 grams of marijuana. Christopher H. Thomas, 24 of Lincoln, Kwantae Hovington, 26 of Georgetown, and Leon T. Davis, 24 of Greenwood, were all charged as part of this investigation. Mr. Davis has been charged with Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Davis was issued a summons and released. Mr. Thomas was charged with two counts of 2nd Offense Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Thomas was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $10,600.00 secured. Mr. Hovington has been charged with 2nd Offense Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Hovington was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $10,600.00 secured. Both Mr. Thomas and Mr. Hovington were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and are scheduled to appear on 03.29.2019 at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a Preliminary Hearing.
