The 5th Annual Roaring 20s Lawn Party at Causey Mansion on Friday, May 17, benefited the Milford Museum. After a long week of work, guests stepped back in time when the only way to enjoy adult beverages was at a speakeasy.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres created from dishes that were popular back in the 1920s were served alongside tastings from local breweries, wineries and distilleries. Two drinks that were extremely popular during the 1920s, ‘Bee’s Knees’ and ‘Scoflaw,” were a crowd favorite.

The Dapper DJs, an award winning disc jockey company, provided music and entertainment at the event. Guests enjoyed vintage-inspired sounds, attire as well as lessons in popular dances of the era.
