On 07.14.2019 Milford Police arrested a Frankford man following an investigation into an impaired driving. On 07.14.2019, at approximately 1:32 am, an officer from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Northwest Front Street (SR 14) to a single vehicle motor vehicle. Investigation revealed a Chevrolet Silverado operated by Garry F. Phillips, 58 of Frankford, struck a sign post. Further investigation, which included field tests, determined Mr. Phillips was operating the vehicle while being impaired. Mr. Phillips was taken into custody and charged with 6th Offense Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Have Insurance Identification in Possession, and Inattentive Driving. Mr. Phillips was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $7050.00 cash. Mr. Phillips was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 08.02.2019 for a Preliminary Hearing.
