Milford Ladybug Festival Lineup Announced

Gable Music Ventures announced the official lineup for the 2019 Milford Ladybug Music Festival on Wednesday, August 21, exactly one month before the event. The Wilmington, DE company is presenting an all-female lineup of 41 acts that will perform in various locations in Downtown Milford.

Highlights for this year include several nationally touring artists: Willow Hill, from Nashville, TN, who will close out the main stage at 8:00pm on Sept. 21; Rachael Sage, from New York City, who will headline the Library Amphitheater; and Sister Funk, from New Haven, CT who will headline at Lifecycle. One internationally touring act, Piper & Carson, from Toronto, Canada will headline at Gallery 37-A Destination for Artful Living. The remainder of the lineup features artists from the tri-state area, including plenty of acts local to Sussex County such as Stacia LaChole, The Delmarva Ramblers, Deb & Mike Acoustic, Shades of Blue, Judy Sings the Blues, Rivers & Rhodes, and The Girlfriends.

Twenty of the 41 acts are Delaware based artists, with several local to Milford, or within 20 miles of Milford.

Co-founder of the Ladybug Music Festival, Jeremy Hebbel, said there were several goals for the lineup this year. “We wanted to shoot for 50 percent of the lineup to be based in Delaware, and we set out to present a wide mix of genres,” he said. “There are several artists that were really well received in 2018 that will be returning this year, including identical twin sisters Nalani & Sarina, as well as local favorites Hoochi Coochi.”

Music will begin at 3:00pm and go until 9:00pm, with most artists performing between 30-60 minute sets. For photos and links to the artists, a map of the event, and the complete schedule of performances, please visit http://bit.ly/ladybugmusic
