For the second Saturday of The 2019 Big Draw Festival DE, the Mispillion Art League (MAL) hosted public art for all ages on Park Avenue in Downtown Milford. Families had the opportunity to literally leave their mark as they participated in Street Feet Painting, a giant Chalk Walk and Sand Castle building. The Festival will continue throughout the month of October on the weekends in Downtown Milford.

Art In The Park

For the third Saturday of The 2019 Big Draw Festival DE, October 19 from 10 am-2pm, the Mispillion Art League (MAL) will be hosting more free events for everyone. Don’t think you can draw? Try your hand at Scribble Art. Love sketching outside? There will be an Art Trail on the Riverwalk starting from MAL with clues leading you to the next sketch opportunity. We will also be sketching at the wonderful Vinyard Shipyard. Work continues on the Community Mandala Mural that was started on Oct. 5; come out and paint on our building. All are free, family-friendly events. For all you photographers, sign up at www.mispillionarts.org to take a Photo Safari around Silver Lake with Gerasio Ruiz, Jr.

Let Your Imagination Run

The 2019 Big Draw Festival DE Saturday. October 26 from 10 am-2pm, the Mispillion Art League (MAL) will be hosting our last free creativity events. Explore blind contour drawing, origami bird making, trace your body and create a portrait, and make a Halloween mask at MAL. Or get out and fill a sketchbook with all the wonders to be discovered at the Milford Museum. We will also continue to work on the Community Mandala Mural that was started on Oct. 5; come out and paint on our building. All are free, family-friendly events. There will also be one more Senior (50+) Art Workshop on October 25 – sign up at www.mispillionarts.org.
