On 10.28.2019 surveillance associated with a drug investigation led to an arrest of a Milford man. On 10.28.2019 at approximately 10:00 am, a Detective from the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit conducting surveillance in Brightway Commons observed an individual engage in what appeared to be open air drug transaction. With the assistance of officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division Tyrek I. Lowther, 21 of Milford, was contacted. Further investigation led to the seizure of crack cocaine. Mr. Lowther has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Lowther was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $3500.00 unsecured. Mr. Lowther is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 11.08.2019 for a Preliminary Hearing.
