The 18th Annual Wellness Expo hosted by the Delaware Diabetes Coalition is set for Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Dover Downs Conference Center (1131 N Dupont Hwy) in Dover, DE. This event is free for the public to attend and lunch is provided on a first come, first serve basis.

The Expo brings together healthcare providers, businesses, diabetes-related organizations, and others to promote diabetes self-management and a healthier lifestyle for people with diabetes. With nearly 50 exhibitors and health screeners, plus an educationally packed program presented by health leaders in our community, attendees will be well-equipped to better manage their diabetes.

Highlights of the day will include free flu shots provided by DE Division of Public Health – Southern Health Services; a keynote presentation from Dr. Nira Madisi, Endocrinologist at Bayhealth Medical Group; raffle giveaways; and for the first time ever – a panel where patients will discuss how they manage their diabetes with innovative and evolving advancements in technology and design. Lt. Governor Bethany Hall Long will also present during lunch on Diabetes in Delaware.

A complete agenda, speaker biographies, and exhibitor lineup can be found online at www.dediabetescoalition.org under the Wellness Expo menu.

This event is free of charge thanks in part to our sponsors: Diabetes & Heart Disease Prevention & Control Program, Bayhealth, Beebe Healthcare, Christiana Care Health System, and Valeritas. Pre-registration is encouraged to beat the check-in line.
