On 12.05.2019 Milford Police arrested a Frederica man following an investigation into an impaired driving that was initiated as a result of a motor vehicle collision. On 12.05.2019 at approximately 8:57 am, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to South Rehoboth Boulevard at Southeast 2nd Street to a report of a motor vehicle collision. Officers made contact with Kevin Strag, 27 of Frederica, who was one of the operators involved in the collision. Mr. Strag displayed signs of being impaired. Further investigation, that included standardized field sobriety tests, resulted in Mr. Strag being taken into custody. Mr. Strag has been charged with 3rd Offense Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Any Drug. Mr. Strag was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $2000.00 secured. Mr. Strag is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on 12.12.2019 for a Preliminary Hearing.
