Nutcracker Ballet Receives Standing Ovation

On December 6 and 7, Diamond Dance Company (DDC) and Tatiana Akinfieva Dance Academy (TADA) presented their 20th Annual “The Nutcracker” ballet. The ballet was the first full length ballet performed by the dance company and it was choreographed by Tatiana Akinfieva-Smith, the company’s founder and the namesake of the dance academy.

“We so grateful to our loyal community who joined us at our new location to watch the Nutcracker,” said Aimee String, co-director of TADA. “The dancers truly put their hearts on that stage and it truly and honor and privilege to watch them grow each every year. We could not be prouder.”

This Spring, DDC and TADA will debut a new ballet as they perform Cinderella. The ballet will be a combination of the classic Cinderella Ballet with a Disney twist to include characters that every child will know and love. Location and date will be announced soon. To stay connected, families should follow TADA on Facebook and visit DDC online at https://www.diamonddanceco.com.
