Man Charged With 5th DUI

On 01.25.2020 Milford Police arrested a Houston, DE man following an investigation into an impaired driving. On 01.25.2020 at approximately 1:01 am an officer on patrol in the area of Canterbury Road (SR 15) and Airport Road conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet S10 after observing a moving violation. Further investigation during the stop led the officer to believe the operator was operating the Chevrolet while impaired. Mark T. Stevenson, 57 of Houston, was taken into custody following the investigation. Mr. Stevenson was also found to have four prior convictions for Driving Under the Influence during this investigation. Mr. Stevenson was charged with 5th Offense Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Failed to Remain in a Single Lane. Mr. Stevenson was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7 and released. Mr. Stevenson is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 01.31.2020 for a Preliminary Hearing.
