On 02/18/2020, The Milford Police Department Drug Unit with the assistance of the Patrol Division and the U.S. Marshals Service First State Fugitive Task Force apprehended Robert L Lewis, 39 of Milford DE, on a vehicle stop, who was wanted on a drug dealing warrant out of Milford PD. During the traffic stop, an Amanda K Chen, 28 of Milford DE, was taken into custody on court capiases. During a search of the vehicle and subjects, investigators located crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. Currency related to the sale of illicit drugs.

Lewis was charged with Manufactures, Delivers, Or Possesses With Intent To Manufacture, Deliver A Controlled Substance, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Possess, Consume A Controlled or Counterfeit Substance Without A Prescription, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2 where he was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $10,000 U.S.C. cash bail and $1,400 U.S.C. secured bail. He was ordered to appear in Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing.

Chen was charged with Conspiracy 3rd Degree; Criminal Impersonation; Possess, Consume A Controlled or Counterfeit Substance Without A Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2 where she was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $2,800 U.S.C. cash bail and 900 U.S.C. secured bail on her court capiases. She was released on $1400 unsecured bond on the new charges related to this case. She was ordered to appear in various courts at a later date reference to her capiases and new charges.
