Downtown Pub Crawl, Concert Postponed

Downtown Milford Inc. Pub Crawl Postpone

Released from Downtown Milford, Inc.

For the last 10 years, Downtown Milford, Inc. (DMI) has enjoyed hosting Southern Delaware’s unique and fun St. Patrick’s events.  We were very much looking forward to celebrating the big 1-0 with our community on Saturday night, but given the growing concerns around COVID-19, the DMI Board made the difficult decision to postpone both Saturday night’s Pub Crawl and Sunday’s Irish Dance & Music Concert.

This was a tough call to make – the events bring income to our Downtown and Uptown businesses and the weekend shines such a bright light on our amazing small town – but we need to prioritize the health and safety of our community, business owners, vendors, performers, volunteers, and visitors.  We also want the event to be of the caliber you, as attendees, have come to expect and with dwindling volunteer numbers and possible venue or vendor cancellations, it would not be.

In light of postponing the events, you will receive a full refund for your bib and Concert ticket purchase.  For bib refunds, please visit Downtown Milford, Inc. (207 S. Walnut St. – next to City Hall) starting Monday, March 16.  You must turn in your bib to receive a full refund.  Office hours are 9am-5pm daily with evening hours until 6:30pm on Tuesday, March 17.  You can also call 302-839-1180 to setup another time.  If you wish to not collect a refund and donate your purchase to DMI, we are very appreciative and a tax receipt will be created for you.  For Concert refunds, please visit Irish Rose (42 N Walnut St.) starting Monday, March 16.  You must turn in your ticket to receive a full refund.  If you purchased your ticket online, your refund will be automatically processed.

At this time, all the Downtown and Uptown bars and restaurants will be open as scheduled.  If you are not feeling well or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please stay home.

Our group of mighty volunteers will convene and discuss new date possibilities in the near future.  Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for the announcement.
