The Smyrna Eagles won the Henlopen-North conference title for the 5th time in the last six years with a decisive 44-15 victory over Caesar Rodney at Charles V. Williams stadium.

Eagles quarterback Aiden Sanchez completed all 12 of his first half passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns. He finished the game with 462 passing yards, giving him an astounding amount of 2, 058 for the season. That’s an average of 343 yards per game.

His four touchdown passes went to four different receivers: An 80-yard pass in stride to Devin Smith, an 86-yard connection to Yamir Knight, and 34-yard connections to Wayne Knight and then Devin Demoe.
