MSD School Board Filing Deadline, March 5

The Kent County Department of Elections, in accordance with Title 14, Chapter 10 of Delaware Code, will publicly advertise the upcoming school board elections.

The Milford School Board has the authority to administer and to supervise the schools of the Milford School District, and to determine policy and adopt rules and regulations for the general administration and supervision of the schools. Such administration, supervision and policy shall be conducted and formulated in accordance with Delaware law and the policies, rules and regulations of the State.

The Milford School District anticipates two openings on the Board for which a vote will be held.  As stated in Delaware Code, terms are set on a five-year basis and candidates must reside in the Milford School District.

Filing deadline: March 5, 2021

Election date: May 11, 2021

Voting locations include Milford High School, Benjamin Banneker Elementary School, Lulu M. Ross Elementary School and Morris Early Childhood Center.
