Bayhealth Endocrinology, Dover Welcomes Wai Wai Lin, MD 

Bayhealth Endocrinology, Dover is pleased to welcome new doctor Wai Wai Lin, MD. She joins Tadele Desalew, MD, in the practice, which is part of Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware. Dr. Lin is now accepting new patients.

She is a very skilled and caring physician,” said Bayhealth Vice President of Physician Services for Bayhealth Medical Group Dina Perry. “Having Dr. Lin on board is helping us meet the need for high-quality specialty services to benefit community members with diabetes and other endocrine conditions.”

After earning her medical degree and completing an internship at the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, Dr. Lin went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She then did a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She comes to Bayhealth from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where she was an attending endocrinologist.

Dr. Lin is board certified in internal medicine and certified by the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She specializes in treating a range of endocrine diseases, such as diabetes, as well as many conditions involving the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands; osteoporosis; and hormonal and metabolic disorders.
