29 Spring 2023 Student-Athletes Earn Conference All-Academic Honors

Twenty-nine of Delaware Technical Community College’s student-athletes from three different spring 2023 teams recently earned Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) All-Academic Team honors.

To be named to the EPAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have participated in a fall sport and achieved a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, while enrolled in 12 credits. The EPAC is made up of 13 National Junior College Athletic Association member colleges in Pennsylvania and Delaware within Region 19.

Earning the honors from the men’s lacrosse team were sophomores Ryan McCrary (Mount Pleasant), Brody McMillan (Milford), Kevin Nyandemo (Delaware Military Academy), and Bryce Wells (Milford), along with freshmen Mitchell Coburn (St. Peter Catholic), Dominic Hippler (Sussex Tech), and Kendric Jones (Delmar).

Earning the honors from baseball team were sophomores Kyle Coffey (Indian River), Kory Pritchard (Appoquinimink), Matt Rodriguez (Delmar), Will Turner, and Cade Williams, along with freshmen Dakota Berry (Urbana), Conor Evers (Hamilton-Wenham), Seth Hill (Sussex Tech), Jorge Javier Sosa (Wilmington), Mason Morris (Milford), Jeremy Netsch (Smyrna), and Sam Stamper (Appoquinimink).

Earning the honors from the softball team were sophomores Carly Collins (Sussex Central), Jada Courtney (Caesar Rodney), Tori Henry (Sussex Tech), Kylie Kruger (Sussex Tech), Camryn Quirk (Newark Charter), and Kandice Schlabach (Delmarva Christian), along with freshmen Kinley Elliott (North Dorchester), Jax Hackett (Middletown), Ally Marly (Delmar), and Hannah Moore (Seaford).

Delaware Tech joined EPAC in 2020 for athletic competition, providing the College with expanded opportunities and exposure for student-athletes, teams, and coaches.
