Downtown Milford Inc. Announces Fall (& Holiday) Event Schedule Meeting Tonight – UPDATED

Mark Your Calendar for Milford First Friday, City of Milford Annual Tree Lighting and the Holiday Stroll and Christmas Market

Milford, Del. — Downtown Milford’s fall season is officially underway. The Downtown Milford Promotions Marketing Committee announced the schedule before the Meeting to be held on Sept. 23, 2025. The virtual session will bring together community members, business owners, and volunteers to finalize plans for a series of festive events designed to celebrate culture, tradition, and holiday spirit.

During the meeting, organizers will highlight three major happenings on the calendar. First up is First Friday: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. Walnut Street and surrounding areas will feature live music, authentic cuisine, and family-friendly activities honoring Hispanic culture and contributions.

Holiday traditions will follow with the City of Milford Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. in front of Milford City Hall. The beloved event will officially kick off the holiday season with twinkling lights, carols, and community cheer.

Rounding out the schedule is the Holiday Stroll and Christmas Market on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m., transforming downtown into a bustling winter marketplace filled with local vendors, seasonal treats, and live entertainment.

“These events are designed to bring our community together, highlight Milford’s vibrant culture, and support our local businesses,” said Sade’ Truiett, coordinator for Downtown Milford Inc.
