Bayhealth Welcomes Daniel Patrick Scott to Primary Care Team

Bayhealth has added a new primary care provider to its Sussex Campus as the health system continues efforts to expand access to care in central and southern Delaware.

Daniel Patrick Scott, PA-C, has joined Bayhealth Primary Care, Sussex Campus, and is accepting new patients, according to a Jan. 8 announcement from Bayhealth.

Scott joins a team of primary care physicians at the location that includes Meliseanna K. Gibbons, MD; Preeti Gupta, MD; Rafael E. Ruiz Gaviria, MD; Lilia G. Villarin, MD; Antonio D. Zarraga, MD; and Cynthia P. Zarraga, MD. The providers are part of Bayhealth Medical Group, which operates medical offices throughout Delaware.

A certified physician assistant, Scott provides primary care services for patients of all ages and brings prior experience in emergency medicine. His clinical focus includes preventive care, chronic disease management and overall wellness.

Expanding our primary care team allows us to better meet patients where they are and ensure timely care close to home.”

Scott began his medical career as an emergency medical technician. He earned his degree from the University of Lynchburg and is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
