Salem Church marked the completion of recent sanctuary renovations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, April 19, followed by a rededication service.

The event, held in partnership with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, brought together church members, community residents and Chamber representatives to celebrate the reopening of the updated space.

Attendees had the opportunity to tour the renovated sanctuary prior to the ceremony and gather for a morning breakfast hosted by the church. The ribbon cutting was followed by a rededication service later in the morning.

According to organizers, the renovations included structural updates as well as the uncovering of original stained glass windows, which are now once again visible within the sanctuary.

Salem Church serves as a community gathering space, hosting regular worship services, family-focused events and outreach programs throughout the year.

Church officials said the updated sanctuary will continue to support those efforts as the congregation moves forward following the renovations.
