The Milford Senior Center recently marked the completion of a facility expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, members of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford and community residents.
The updates include the addition of a new fitness center and an expanded activity room aimed at increasing programming and gathering space for members.
According to the City of Milford, the fitness center features updated equipment, while the new activity room is designed to support a variety of programs and social opportunities for the area’s senior population.
Attendees at the event also viewed a newly completed mural created in recognition of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
City officials said the expansion reflects ongoing efforts to enhance resources and services available to Milford’s senior community.
