Summer series pairs cold beer, rescue dogs and a chance to support Grass Roots Rescue
MILTON — Dogfish Head’s Milton Brewery will kick off its monthly Summer Yappy Hour series Tuesday, June 30, giving visitors a chance to meet adoptable dogs while enjoying a summer evening at the brewery.
The event begins at 4 p.m. at Dogfish Head Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center in Milton. Grass Roots Rescue will bring adoptable dogs for guests to meet, with the goal of helping more rescue animals connect with potential homes.
Dogfish Head is billing the event as a relaxed, dog-friendly gathering for beer lovers, families and animal supporters. People and pups are welcome.
The June 30 event is the first in the brewery’s summer series. Additional Yappy Hours are scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, and Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The series offers a low-pressure way for visitors to learn more about local rescue efforts while spending time with adoptable dogs.
