Milford Museum to Host Seventh Annual Hippiefest Aug. 15

The Milford Museum’s annual Hippiefest fundraiser will return to the Causey Mansion on Saturday, Aug. 15, bringing live music, food vendors and 1960s and ’70s-themed activities to downtown Milford.
The seventh annual event will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Causey Mansion, 2 Causey Ave. The Funsters will make their first appearance at Hippiefest, while DJ Dana McDonald of Forever Media will play music from the era between sets.

Attendees can bring blankets and lawn chairs for the outdoor event. Food trucks and merchandise vendors will be on site, and The Alcohauler will offer alcoholic beverages. Guests may also bring their own alcohol, although outside food is not permitted.
The event will include contests, and organizers encourage attendees to dress in 1960s and ’70s-inspired clothing.
Hippiefest is a 21-and-over event, and attendees must present a valid photo ID. Pets are not permitted.
Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online or at the Milford Museum, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Tickets will be available at the gate for $50.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Milford Museum.
