1776 Steakhouse plans second location in Ocean View
1776 Steakhouse is expanding beyond its Rehoboth Beach location with plans to open a second restaurant in Ocean View.
The steakhouse announced it will take over the former Big Fish Grill site at 30415 Cedar Neck Road, bringing its menu of steaks, seafood and upscale dining options to a new Sussex County community.
The restaurant, which has operated in Rehoboth Beach for years, is known for its steakhouse-style menu featuring cuts such as filet mignon, New York strip, bone-in ribeye and tomahawk steak, along with seafood selections including crab cakes, salmon Wellington and lobster black ravioli.
The Ocean View location is planned as a two-level restaurant designed to offer two different dining experiences. According to the announcement, the lower level will feature a more lively atmosphere, while the second floor will provide a more intimate setting.
1776 Steakhouse has received multiple Best of Delaware honors, including recognition for categories such as Best Steakhouse, Best Fine Dining and Best Special Occasion.
The restaurant said the new location is expected to open in spring 2027, with additional details to be announced as the project progresses.
