Bayhealth Expands Neurology Services With New Provider in Dover

Bayhealth has added a new clinician to its neurology services in Dover as part of an effort to expand access to specialized care in central Delaware.

Tiffany Shivock, ACNPC-AG, a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, has joined Bayhealth Neurology, Blue Hen, where she will help diagnose and treat a range of neurological conditions, including brain and spine disorders, according to Bayhealth officials.

“Adding skilled neurology clinicians like Shivock allows us to meet the increasing demand for specialized care while keeping patients close to their families and support systems,” said Bayhealth Interim Director of Neurosciences Janelle Hobbs, MBA, MSN, RN, CLSSGB. “Expanding high-quality neurological services in our community is essential to improving outcomes and ensuring patients don’t have to travel far to receive the expert care they deserve.”

Bayhealth said Shivock’s clinical background includes experience in patient-centered neurological care with an emphasis on early diagnosis, evidence-based treatment and long-term wellness. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Shivock worked as a bedside nurse, a role that continues to influence her approach to patient care.

Her bedside experience, Bayhealth noted, has helped shape her ability to build long-term relationships with patients and guide them through different stages of neurological treatment.
