DOVER — Bayhealth will host a Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bayhealth Conference Center at Blue Hen, located at 665 Bay Rd., Unit A, Dover. The free event aims to improve community health by providing essential screenings, flu shots, education, and access to local resources.

Open to all residents, the fair is designed to remove barriers to care by offering services at no cost—no identification or insurance required. Participants can receive screenings for heart and vascular health, blood pressure, skin and breast cancer, and more.

In addition to health services, the fair will feature a Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with the Food Bank of Delaware, free winter coats, and raffles for $250 grocery gift cards and kids’ bikes.

Bayhealth’s approach focuses on the social determinants of health, recognizing that issues like food insecurity, transportation, and access to information directly impact overall well-being. The fair will feature only Bayhealth departments and healthcare-related nonprofits to maintain a community-focused atmosphere.

The event is free and open to the public, with ample parking available.
