New Family Medicine Physician Joins Bayhealth Primary Care in Smyrna
Bayhealth Medical Group has added a new physician to its Smyrna primary care office. Hany Zekry, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, is now seeing patients at Bayhealth Primary Care, Smyrna, expanding access to primary care services in the growing central Delaware community.
Dr. Zekry provides care for patients of all ages, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management and infectious disease. According to Bayhealth, he focuses on building long-term relationships with patients and supporting families through different stages of life.
He earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. He also previously trained as a physical medicine and rehabilitation resident at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago.

Born and raised in Egypt, Dr. Zekry trained in infectious disease before relocating to the United States to continue his medical career.
